Scientastic Bone Renovation

Summary

After viewing the Scientastic! episode, “Sticks and Stones,” students will further explore the process of bone renovation through this creative learning activity.

Students create a visual aid or media of the step-by-step process of bone renovation in the form of flow-charts, PowerPoints, storyboards, or short movies. At the end, they present their project to the class. As an extension activity, have students compare bone renovation to another part of the part which constantly renews itself.
