Lesson plans about regenerative medicine, heart, nervous system, and bone health.
This collection of lessons and activities takes students through an exploration of the anatomy and physiology of the heart, bone, and nervous system. Students will use common household items like buckets, cardboard tubes, jump ropes, and clay to learn about the structures and functions of the body. Hands-on activities allow students to model complex processes like bone remodeling and cholesterol deposition. Students will learn about how regenerative medicine can be used to help speed up or improve the healing process inside the body.
