Charles Darwin Synthetic Interview (Paid Version) Lesson Plan

Summary

This lesson is designed to be used with the Charles Darwin Synthetic Interview app. This is a paid app which is available for both iOS and Android devices. A free version of the app, is also available, along with a separate lesson plan. The paid version of the app includes more questions and additional topics (application of his theory, modern observations, expert and commentary) about Charles Darwin and the theory of evolution. During this lesson students will critically explore Darwin’s theory of evolution and the societal issues surrounding it. Students will use the app to collect information on the various critiques about the theory and then apply their knowledge in a debate format.
