Principal investigator, Urban Ecosystem Project
Katherine Richardson Bruna, associate professor in the School of Education at Iowa State University, studies multicultural foundations of school and society. Her current research relates to the demographic transition in many of Iowa’s communities. Working as a bilingual instructional aid in West Sacramento sparked Bruna’s interest in the relationship between linguistic and cultural diversity and student experiences in school.
