Dr. Luke H. Bradley completed his undergraduate studies at Ohio University and received his Ph.D. in biochemistry from Ohio State University. He was a Council of Science and Technology Postdoctoral Research and Teaching Fellow at Princeton University, where he received training in STEM educational and mentoring approaches, in addition to conducting research.

Dr. Bradley is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Kentucky. He was named the University of Kentucky Undergraduate Research Mentor of the Year in 2018, as well as a University of Kentucky Chellgren Endowed Professor for his excellence in teaching and research. He is also affiliated with the University of Kentucky’s Lewis Honors College, Neuroscience Major Executive Committee, Brain Restoration Center, and APP (Academic Preparation and Placement) Advisory Board.

Finally, he has founded the NIH-funded University of Kentucky START (STEM Through Authentic Research Training) Program, which is an University-Community partnership that works towards the recruitment and retention of first generation and underrepresented populations in STEM by providing year-round research opportunities and professional development activities for high school students and teachers.
