Amanda served as project manager on a $15 million federally funded education grant to develop a social emotional learning program in public schools in Puerto Rico. She oversaw the hiring and training of project coordinators in Puerto Rico, coordinated with evaluators, and developed a partnership relationship with a for-profit education group in Puerto Rico. At Dartmouth, she develops workshops and collaborations to support faculty on many different award submissions. As an educator, Amanda developed a constructivist learning model of education to address linguistic differentials in international returnee students in the Japanese education system, and understands the importance of meeting the needs of educators and supporting them in effective pedagogy.
