    • Ms. Ortega started her career almost 20 years ago working with youth as a middle school math teacher. She has always maintained a commitment to improving youth outcomes among under-served populations through her program leadership on a range of youth programs. Ms. Ortega brings deep knowledge and experience to her role as Program Director with years of experience providing organizations, schools, coalitions, state and federal agencies training and technical assistance on various topics, such as, the youth development approach, community building and engagement, racial justice and equity, supervision of youth and adults, program planning and improvement among other topics.
