Scientastic Bag O’ Bones

Summary

After viewing the Scientastic! episode, “Sticks and Stones,” students will focus on identifying major bones in the body and comparing human and animal anatomy in this activity.

Students will use their creative skills to construct a scene that depicts a human skeleton performing an everyday action along with an animal counterpart. Each skeleton will be labeled with selected bones to reinforce the anatomy of the human body. Students get a chance to view their classmates’ illustrations at the end.
